Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or other related degree.

Develop and execute in vitro assays for the characterization of free and LNP formulated mRNA

One to five years of experience in post-graduate research (experience will determine position level).

Lead biology efforts for drug discovery projects, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicating proactively with stakeholders and management

Demonstrated success leading drug discovery projects or initiatives, in particular experience progressing compounds from identification through characterization and into optimization

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, complex data analysis and interpretation, and communication skills

Experience working with or managing CRO activities

Experience developing biochemical and/or cellular assays in different formats is preferred

Experience working in biotech is preferred

PhD degree in a scientific discipline, or MS with 4+ years experience, or BS with 6+ years experience

Experience leveraging molecular/genetic tools for studying chromosomal/genome instability

Experience with data analysis software

Experience with mammalian cell culture is a must with at least 1 year in an industrial setting.

Experience with transcriptomics methods such as RNA-seq and/or single cell RNA-seq or related technologies is desired.
