The role:

We have partnered with a renewable industry start-up with supreme private equity funding to the tune of $1BILL over the coming years. They are in need of a seasoned Regulation & Policy Director to support one of the founders help both furthering business interests and protecting it from upcoming regulatory changes.

Non-Negotiable skills/ years’ experience:

• Great understanding of FERC and regulatory structures within the energy industry
• Can-do attitude – someone who wants to get the job done and engaged in company mission
• Clear understanding around federal, state and regional commissions
• Strong background within policy, regulatory affairs or government affairs
• Experience monitoring new policies and engaging with local and regional stakeholders
• Ability to highlight key policies that will affect utility-scale storage projects

Desirable (but not essential) skills/ years’ experience:

• Located in the states mentioned above
• Understanding around filings and ability to advocate the company
