2+ years experience in billing, accounts receivable or accounting

2+ years of accounting experience showing progression of accounting responsibilities

Data entry for various accounting processes as required

Excellent customer service skills through both written and verbal communication

Timely invoicing of fees per contract terms and reporting revenue per GAAP/companies policies

Creation and updating of recurring billing contracts in the accounting system

Maintenance of billing orders and update of CRM/Data tracking system in conjunction with Accounting System

3 years' experience of direct billing or client account work for a law or professional services organization

Experience with accounting systems such as Aderant and/or Elite Enterprise

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and timekeepers

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field

Billing experience in an international or global organization

Manage all Commercial Billing Only order activity between Commercial Sales and enter into the applicable systems, COBRA and SABRE.

2+ years experience using a PC with various software packages OR current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge.

1+ years’ experience in customer service.

Prior coding experience with CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA Certification

Identify and communicate trends and potential issues to management

Minimum of 1-2 years billing experience preferred

Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Bachelor's degree a plus (preferably in accounting, finance, or related field)

Certification: Cert Coding Specialist - American Health Information Management Association

Review ICD-10-CM/PCS, and DRG to provide feedback and education to the inpatient coding team

Conduct monthly random and focused audits of inpatient coders

Collaborate with senior auditors on denials/claim edits

Educate coders through monthly newsletter contributions, roundtable webinars, and meetings

Identify coding trends, compile coding quality data, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and policies

Review clients' qualifications, show them options that best fit their needs and budget

Three to five years of previous billing or insurance experience.

Acts as a Lead IBC Assistant. Trains and orientates other IBC Assistants.

Performs collection follow-up duties on specific financial classifications, such as commercial insurance, self-pay, Medicare and Medicaid claims.

Handles discounts, adjustments and charge corrections.

Makes collection calls to insurance companies and patients to ensure timely payment of claims.

High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 10+ years of equivalent working experience

2+ years of experience in claims recovery and resolution

Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
