Provide exception management support for Americas-region warranty claims

Willingness to gain basic technical knowledge of the Container product line to support warranty claims and concession claims

2+ years of experience in customer service/support role

Experience in IT or Web Support field

Experience in a global market is preferred

High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

One year customer service experience preferred (preferably in a homebuilding industry)

Strong analytical and organizational skills – attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines

Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, motivate, and contribute as part of a team

Strong communication skills including verbal and written communication and listening skills

Proficiency with the Internet, MS Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to quickly learn database software programs required

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Submits warranty claims for aircraft parts and labor.

Ships requested warranty parts with all appropriate paperwork to Warranty Returns.

Scraps non-repairable parts based on a list of criteria.

Sends parts out for repair to Cirrus and third-party vendors based on need.

Adds warranty credits to work orders.

The Warranty Administrator reports to the Service Manager.

Determine and enter the applicable labor operation codes, failure codes, and/or other required administrative data on the repair orders.

Check each repair order against the vehicles’ service history to avoid processing duplicate claims or submitting claims for shop comebacks.

Review and process all returned/rejected/adjusted warranty claims, track each claim until its final resolution.

Contact the appropriate warranty claims representative regarding any claims requiring additional authorization or for claims requiring special assistance.

Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status

Provide parts manager with updated parts listing on a weekly basis

Review and manage all aging schedules and reports

Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations

Two years of experience in a automotive dealership

Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status

Provide parts manager with updated parts listing on a weekly basis

Review and manage all aging schedules and reports

Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations

Two years of experience in a automotive dealership

Follow procedures and policies set forth by management, the Employee Handbook and the Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Any other duties as assigned by management

Assist managers with tracking down repair orders that have not been closed for various reasons.

Flag warranty work orders with labor times.

Write and close all GM PDIs.

Close out all and submit all warranty repair orders for Toyota, GM, Quick Lube, and the Collision Center.

An Associate’s Degree or Certificate in a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience directly with warranty preferably within the transportation or power generation industry

Experience in claim processing and adjudication

Experience with Marine OEM and dealership experience is desirable.

Experience with Volvo Penta products is preferred

Some of your core responsibilities will include:

Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status

Report any fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims to the General Manager and Dealer Principle.

Review and manage all aging schedules and reports

Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

General automotive operational knowledge is required
