Job Description

Job Summary

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for filing warranty claims for the high-volume Factory Service Center. They are also responsible for maintaining warranty records, communication with other departments and vendors. This person is also responsible for shipping core parts back to vendors for credit and disposing of scrap parts.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The schedule for this role will be M-F 730am-4pm. Assignment length to be determined.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Implements processes and procedures as needed.
  • Sends parts out for repair to Cirrus and third-party vendors based on need.
  • Warranty
    • Submits warranty claims for aircraft parts and labor.
    • Ships requested warranty parts with all appropriate paperwork to Warranty Returns.
    • Scraps non-repairable parts based on a list of criteria.
    • Sends parts out for repair to Cirrus and third-party vendors based on need.
    • Adds warranty credits to work orders.
    • Implements processes and procedures as needed.
  • Other duties as required
  • Process customer invoices and payments as needed.
  • Adds warranty credits to work orders.
  • Scraps non-repairable parts based on a list of criteria.
  • Ships requested warranty parts with all appropriate paperwork to Warranty Returns.
  • Submits warranty claims for aircraft parts and labor.

Other Duties:

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English language. Experience with MS Office suite. Ability to work with minimal instruction and supervision.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School degree or equivalent
