Job Title: Director of Property Management

Certified Property Manager is preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.

Oversees procurement strategies to insure Company is receiving the best service and price available by vendors and contractors.

Reports To: Senior Director, Managing Director

Work Hours (may vary by state or location):

3+ years multi-site apartment management experience required, prefer a minimum portfolio of 1,500 units of 4 or more properties

Third party fee management experience preferred,

Strong financial management skills and well-versed in budgeting and forecasting,

Superior leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team building, coaching and mentoring skills,

Demonstrated experience as a “manager of managers”, including the ability to hold Community Managers accountable for financial and customer service results,

Maintain corporate records of all management properties to include information related to insurance, management agreements, unit transfer values, etc.

Reports To: Sr. Managing Director of Property Management

Experience managing multiple Property, General or Area Managers and successfully delegating responsibilities to drive maximum team performance

Assist Area/Senior Managers with team performance, payroll, legal and quality management issues

Ensure all property management tasks and escalations are addressed

Work closely with asset management, accounting, legal and other teams to optimize portfolio performance

Engage clients and brokers to manage requirements for non-standard insurance placements.

Research risk management trends and provide clients with suitable risk transfer options, as appropriate.

Participate in company-wide projects related to risk management, safety, and crisis management.
