Overview Non-profit Human Resources Generalists are responsible for providing human resources support to non-profit organizations. They are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing employees, as well as developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures. They also provide guidance and support to staff on a variety of HR-related topics. Detailed Job Description Non-profit Human Resources Generalists are responsible for a variety of tasks related to the recruitment, onboarding, and management of employees. This includes developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and support to staff on a variety of HR-related topics. They are also responsible for managing employee benefits, payroll, and other HR-related activities. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in a human resources role
• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Knowledge of recruitment and selection processes
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in a human resources role
• Experience in a non-profit organization is preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures
• Manage employee benefits, payroll, and other HR-related activities
