Support the company treasury operations by monitoring daily cash activity and preparing bank reconciliations.

Oversee the recording of monthly company credit card expenses ensuring the consistency of coding to the annual budget.

Manage other miscellaneous ad hoc projects related to payroll/benefit accounting.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience, preferably in Payroll and Benefit accounting

Execute accounting routines required to complete monthly and quarterly financial closings for Payroll and Benefits in the U.S. and Canada.

Execute accounting for U.S. Benefit reserves and International Accounting Standard Nineteen (IAS19) Pension accounting.

Manage general ledger module in payroll system.

Key point of contact for all internal and external payroll and benefits financial audits.

Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting, etc.)

Manage journal entries, vendor invoices, and reconcile balance sheet accounts for monthly or annual closing

Minimum of 4 years of progressive, relevant experience.

Experience working with various systems, including but not limited to Dynamics 365, SAP, Concur and/or Blackline

In-depth knowledge of Accounting theory and application of U.S. GAAP.

Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

2 years of previous payroll experience.

Proven experience as Payroll Specialist or in a similar administrative role.

Payroll tax experience a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex payroll issues to clients.

Process employee payroll related changes transmitted from HR, such as benefit changes

Reconcile employee payroll benefit deductions with vendor invoices

Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state wage, hour and tax laws for multiple states

Maintain related records, file tax reports and deduction reports, process involuntary deductions such as garnishments, and prepare special reports for management.

Create and produce reports and assist management on special projects as necessary.

Assist Finance Director with annual and other audits.

6+ years of progressive accounting and payroll experience

Thorough understanding of finance and accounting policies and practices

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.

5 - 7 years payroll specific experience and 2+ years' experience at manager level.

Manage various payroll vendor relationships and assist with contracts.

Experience with Workforce Software preferred.

Familiarity or experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.

Knowledge of ASPEN and SAP

Detailed Audit of all Invoices and Timecards in order to ensure that all charges are accurate and reasonable.

Review all submitted Flex Talent Expenses for compliance with the A&E Flex Talent Reimbursement Policy.

Brings identified problems with recommended solutions to the attention of management.

Ability to meet operational deadlines coupled with ad hoc crisis management.

Superior software skills, including expert level EXCEL as well as a knowledge of general ledger and payroll reporting tools.

Maintains multiple general ledger payroll maps, provides assistance to Finance departments to interpret, reconcile, and adjust journal entries.

Assists payroll staff and other interested parties to interpret and apply payroll and benefit laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

1 to 3 years years of experience in Accounting preferred

Will regularly work with other Accountants within the team
