Sentara Healthcare is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Accountant!

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Remote opportunities available in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming!

Job responsibilities:

• Records routine and non-recurring accounting entries; prepares account reconciliation to general ledger; prepares and reviews financial statements and reports; performs routine and special project financial analyses.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Will regularly work with other Accountants within the team

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years years of experience in Accounting preferred
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Familiar with DOS based system
