Mechanic Maintenance Jobs in Utah

Perform all other duties as assigned or asked of by management.

Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Excellent aptitude and demonstrated experience in the following trades required:

Working knowledge of PLC’s. Servo motors/drives, AC/DC variable speed frequency drives;

Must demonstrate Journeyman level competence in all of the above trade skills.

Manage and perform projects independently.

High level of competency in maintenance skills and experience

Complete projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager.

All-round experience with rotating, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical processes regarding preventive maintenance and new construction.

Experience in plumbing, piping (CPVC, threaded and welded), compressors, forklifts, and general maintenance. Some electrical experience desired.

Ability to work safely with strict adherence to established standard operating procedures, safety protocols, OSHA requirements and industry safety practices.

Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operation

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause

Minimum 3 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred

Starting pay for this position is $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience.

Perform troubleshooting and repair or replacement of defective and damaged parts
