Manage supplier compliance to contractual language and negotiate with suppliers to meet Avantor’s inbound delivery requirements.

Education: BS degree in Logistics, Business, or Operations; MBA with Supply Chain focus preferred.

10-12 years of applicable work experience.

10-12 Years of SCM/ Operations Experience.

Strong knowledge and practical use of Forecasting and Inventory Planning tools, Operations and Logistics.

Broad range of influencing and negotiation skills.

Knowledge and understanding of a matrix environment with strong organization skills.

Manage and support internal Supplier Diversity events including event focus, logistics, and marketing.

3-5 Years of experience in a related field

Bachelor’s Degree in business from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience

Experience with B2GNOW and Supplier I/O preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Proactively seek knowledge about federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to subcontractor management and supplier diversity.

5+ combined years of experience in relevant fields, such as Diverse Business compliance, community outreach, construction operations, employment, or subcontractor management.

Support our project teams with completing program compliance items on site or remotely if needed

A High School Diploma or equivalent practical experience in construction, compliance or administration.

Deploys the RSR SCM governance model to the management of key strategic vendors.

Identifies potential contingent labor and SOW suppliers based on matching supplier capabilities to client program requirements.

Vendor management in the implementation of new SoW MSP programs.

Manages supplier relationships and overall supplier performance across client portfolio.

7+ years of project management experience which must include leadership of at least one complex/major project

Supplier Identification and Relationship Management:

Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, legal, and finance, to incorporate supplier diversity requirements into sourcing strategies and contract negotiations.

Experience leading complex projects spanning multiple knowledge, technical and functional disciplines

Identify and assess potential diverse suppliers that align with the company's needs and requirements.

Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate internal stakeholders about the benefits and importance of supplier diversity.

Relationship management skills internally and externally

Knowledge and expertise with the diverse vendor certifications like women owned business, veteran owned business, and small business.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, business management, supply chain, or sourcing preferred

Sound knowledge and business practices that include engaging with memberships like WEBANK

Experience with creating and deploying a vendor diversity program successfully

Evaluate and implement new processes, informing cross-functional departments regarding updated requirements and process flows

High change orientation with the ability to drive change-management across internal and external stakeholder groups

Proficient in large-scale project management and driving results through others

Identifies and manages costs associated with running the Program

Leverages established industry relationships, knowledge & expertise and maintains program metrics to provide comparison to Fortune 500 benchmarks

Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, and/or Supplier Diversity

Minimum 5 years of experience in building and/or managing a Supplier Diversity program, preferably in a Fortune 500 company

Experience in planning and project management.

Identify and manage Supplier Diversity events and engagements.

Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.

Strong knowledge of supplier diversity, including best practices.

Strong negotiation and consensus building skills.

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effectively manage multiple projects at any given time and provide timely, accurate, management information on the status of efforts.

Utilize various technologies to attract and source talent, ensure accurate applicant tracking and data management, and manage critical metrics.

Understand federal, state, and local government protocol related to people management.

B.A., B.S. or other baccalaureate/undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

7+ years of related experience.

Experience developing and managing programs/projects and possesses ability to use metrics to monitor performance and inform actions.

DE&I strategy and/or execution experience with a focus on Talent Acquisition and/or Program Management.

Spearhead all elements of CNA’s Apprenticeship Program including, but not limited to, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and vendor management.

Prefer one to two years of experience managing a team directly/indirectly or managing outsourced capabilities.

Create operational plans in partnership with recruiting teams to drive best in class candidate experiences and inclusive hiring practices.

Experience with corporate Talent Acquisition functions and a thorough understanding of best practices, technology, and processes.

Experience managing or coaching direct reports or leading outsourced recruitment functions (preferred).

Bachelors degree in business administration, operations management, or other directly applicable field or equivalent education/experience.

Knowledge of supplier management best practices and industry trends.

Identify, analyze, and recommend sourcing and supplier management solutions that support Divisional strategic objectives.

Champion and execute supplier management best practices to maximize the value of supplier relationships.
