Job Description

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Supplier Diversity Manager within the Texas market including Houston, San Antonio or the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. The main responsibility will be to collaborate with our local GM/EVPs, Project Managers, Business Development, Project Planning leaders and other key stakeholders to maximize opportunities for small and diverse firms.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Regional Supplier Diversity Director to steer the program and fulfill Skanska’s values with respect to Supplier Diversity
  • Support our project teams with completing program compliance items on site or remotely if needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, marketing, and business development to support strategy and communicate impact of the Program
  • Educate, train, and raise awareness of the program to ensure a proper understanding by all employees whose work involves participation with Diverse Business firms
  • Organize Diverse Business events and represent Skanska in the Diverse Business community for intentional engagement

  • Proactively seek knowledge about federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to subcontractor management and supplier diversity.
  • Build support, drive action, and maintain strong relationships built on trust at all levels across the organization and with external partners.
  • Promote Skanska’s values and be a strong voice in your team, organization, and communities.


Specific Requirements:

  • 5+ combined years of experience in relevant fields, such as Diverse Business compliance, community outreach, construction operations, employment, or subcontractor management.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent practical experience in construction, compliance or administration.
