Summary
Key role in the implementation and execution of the supplier diversity program. Manage and monitor supplier relationships across the multiple business units. Ensures principles and approaches to management, oversight and governance of suppliers is aligned across procurement and with Divisional objectives. Responsible for defining and implementing best practices that maximize efficiencies, quality, and spend savings while building and maintaining positive, long-term, strategic supplier partnerships.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend sourcing and supplier management solutions that support Divisional strategic objectives.
  • Interpret supplier contracts, participate in contract change negotiations, and monitor fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate contract provisions for initial agreements and ongoing amendments; facilitate coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive supplier behavior and deliver continuous improvement in vendor performance.
  • Champion and execute supplier management best practices to maximize the value of supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and facilitate communications between stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met.
  • Analyze and evaluate procurement data to provide recommendations and strategies for both the supplier diversity program, as well as broader procurement organizational projects and strategies.
  • Lead cross functional teams to develop and execute local or global strategies covering categories and commodities across a broad customer base.
  • Implement and execute the sourcing and supplier management program that includes develop RFx proposals, evaluate and recommend best available options, negotiate contract and transition and monitor suppliers.
  • Recommend, implement category procurement and commodity sourcing strategies to achieve strategic plans.
  • Responsible for the development and management of the Supplier Diversity program. This position be responsible for tracking current performance for diverse suppliers, setting goals for performance, partnering with various stakeholders to improve performance, and assisting local, diverse suppliers build out their capabilities.
  • Implement and on-board suppliers.
  • Execute governance with suppliers; drive a two-way exchange of information related to strategies, priorities, requirements, and disputes.
  • Partner with Divisional Leadership to develop effective supplier relationships that ensure high performance and competitive pricing.
Qualifications:
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with teams across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Broad business perspective with 8 years of experience in supplier diversity program management, category procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract management.
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguous situations and drive towards clarification.
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact and diplomacy; demonstrated ability to lead difficult conversations and collaborate, facilitate, and achieve consensus amongst key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive change.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and support activities within a single job function.
  • Knowledge of supplier management best practices and industry trends.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to put strategic plans into operation.
  • Ability to succeed under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Experience with the supplier identification, selection and negotiation process.
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, operations management, or other directly applicable field or equivalent education/experience.
  • Ability to work effectively and cultivate strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external parties.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a shared services environment.
  • Experience across multi-functional business processes.
  • Experience managing suppliers with global product/service provisioning models.
  • Global perspective and experience working with diverse customers and suppliers.
  • Experience in data analytics, reporting and presentations.
  • Experience working with various electronic procurement tools.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-commuting Remote employees will not be assigned to report to a Company office location (although they may need to travel to a Company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely.
**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $100,000-$132,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
