Maintenance Electro Mechanical Technician Jobs

Relevant work experience should include calibration, maintenance and repair of complex electronic and mechanical control systems

Experience in the field of pressure, temperature, level and flow instrumentation, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems

Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.

Demonstrate a general knowledge of a technical or specialty area.

Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.

Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility

Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems

Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.

Interpreting and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals

5 years' supervisory or project management experience in heavy industrial industry or the military

Mechanical maintenance aptitude, strong leadership/team skills

Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, and exposure to databases

Previous precipitator, baghouse, & water system experience

Previous BOF, LMF and Casting experience

Working knowledge of mill mechanical systems (i.e. gearing, bearings, hydraulics, lubrication, welding & fabricating, ripping, pumps, piping, etc.)

Daily job duties will vary day by day based on customer needs.

Perform product modifications on trains including their brake systems, coupler systems and door systems.

Support testing of railcars at different locations once they are delivered.

Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred and an equivalent to an associate degree of education within a relevant field.

Knowledge of instrument calibration is required

Experience using a Digital Multi-Meter is required

Technical troubleshooting for Controls, Electrical, Instrumentation, and some Mechanical Systems

React to work orders that are tracked through a company work order management system

Initiate and complete all work within the plant work order management system

Utilize work order management system to document periodic scheduled tasks

Must have good computer skills including MS office, PLC programing and CMMS experience

Associates/Technical Degree preferred or sufficient related work experience

Knowledge of proper use of slings and eyebolts preferred

Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.

HVAC certification or maintenance experience.

Occasional sitting, below waist level work, balancing, carrying, reaching, fine motor skills, forceful motion, and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Technical degree in a related field, journeyman's card, or five-plus years of related experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical/mechanical).

Broad knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, electronic controls and devices, and electrical/electronic theory.

Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements

Required: High school diploma with at 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role

Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills and tasks

Strong electrical (AC/DC, 3-Phase) and mechanical skills

Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring

Mandatory overtime may be required due to operational requirements

Compliance experience with ESD, Security, Occupational, Health, and Environmental safety requirements

Minimum 5 years of related technical experience in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance

Associates degree in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred, or relevant experience

Experience with component repair and motor and sensor uninstall and reinstall

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and PLC ladder logic

Experience working with the necessary documentation and computer programs

Manage spare parts and equipment inventory.

Explain product function and tips on troubleshooting to customer and rig personnel Education.

Education: High school to Bachelors

Experience: 0 - 10 years of experience

Provide onsite services to the operator for Environmental Services (ES) equipment.

Advise customer representatives on product application and installation.

Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities & Qualifications

3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic

Installing and repairing of electrical apparatus as determined by training and skill set of technician

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Testing and visually inspects machinery and equipment.

Trouble shooting machinery and equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Above plus -

Top-skilled position responsible for safely maintaining machinery and/or facilities.

1st Shift (Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

May operate forklift, man-lift, welders, torches, powered and unpowered hand tools, and other similar equipment.

Instructs others on work instructions and specific techniques and may directly coordinate the work of others.

Inspects for quality, defects, and deviations from specifications.

Plan and coordinate manufacturing problems or ideas for operation efficiency improvement with management.

Support supervisor and Manager as needed.

Assembly of PBS Products and adhere to the rules.

Test assembled products, sub assembly and electromechanical equipment.

Support QC inspection of incoming parts.

Keep accurate records of products produced and finishing appropriate paperwork related to manufacturing.
