Electro/Mechanical Technician needed to support, troubleshoot and service new railcars. Need 3-5 years as a mechanic or mechanical technician. Experience with various tools and heavy equipment a plus!
FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE**
HOURS
1st shift- 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (overtime available)
DUTIES
You will...
  • Daily job duties will vary day by day based on customer needs.
  • Support testing of railcars at different locations once they are delivered.
  • Study and comprehend the work instructions relating to the daily tasks while working alongside the railcar builder.
  • Perform product modifications on trains including their brake systems, coupler systems and door systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Present a high school diploma (if requested) or equivalent educational experience.
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Successfully pass the pre-screening process including a drug test and criminal background checks.
  • Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and instructions.
  • Must be able to read and speak English fluently; interpret documents such as electrical schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
