Ability to communicate with team members and management

: Balance the unapplied payments in lockbox management back to the corresponding lockbox reject account within one week.

3+ years of experience in accounting(AP or AR)

Contract to possible hire Pay $20

Hybrid setting with minimum 1 day a week could change to 2 days per week

Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office software

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

Post accounts receivable payments per agency remittance advices

Resolve valid or authorized adjustments with balancing entries in order to reconcile A/R payments

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be comfortable presenting to all levels of management.

BA/BS degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience

Ability to manage expectations and explain technical details.

Able to create system context, use case, workflow, conceptual data model diagrams describing the future state requirements.

Document functional specifications / requirements and work with technology teams on detailed architecture and design.

Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the application portfolio.

Knowledge of medical plans and benefits. Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education

Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education

Requires minimum of 5 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience

Requires extensive experience in claims processing

Intermediate-Advanced skills creating documents/files using Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word

Process multiple claim types or specialties

Great time management and organizational skills.

Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as NetSuite and Zoho Books.

Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related.

At least 2 years experience as an accounts payable specialist, or similar.

In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.

Basic Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Outlook & Word

Basic knowledge of Accounting Principles, including debit and credit functions

Experience in bookkeeping or banking is highly preferred

Ability to reconcile financial transactions

High school diploma or GED

Thorough understanding of how financial transactions are completed in multiple TFS systems

Superior time management and organization skills, including but not limited to demonstrated exceptional attention to detail

Two years’ experience in a contact call center or shared services center or fast paced office operations environment preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel applications.

2 years of customer service experience and/or payment processing experience

Call center experience or shared services experience (preferred)

Act as department representative, making decisions based on audit requirements, processing capabilities and client experience, which must be executed flawlessly

Provide in-depth reporting to senior management on account status and any audit discrepancies

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent work experience

7+ years’ experience in compensation or similar role within financial services

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Advanced MS Office skills, specific to Excel

Maintains knowledge of coordination of benefits requirements and processes for all insurance claims.

Accounting knowledge Pay range: \$21.00-\$23.00/hour DOE and the following benefits:

Notifies the manager of any issues related to payment posting, adjustments, or denials.

Maintain knowledge of insurance rejection/denial processing and appropriately posts information for collections and follow-up activity.

Coordinate with the manager enrollment for ERA and EFT.

Work experience posting payments in a healthcare business office.

•Ensures all loan files are labeled in accordance with the Bureau's records management requirements.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

General Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of related experience.

•Process check collections for direct loans, assigned guaranteed loans and premium payments in Financial System and subsystem.

•Process accruals of interest, penalties, and administrative fees for direct and assigned guaranteed loans.

•Process IPAC collections for direct loans and assigned guaranteed loans and send receipts for collections.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience

0-2 years cash application, collection, customer service or administrative experience

Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Utilizes Cotiviti audit tools (Recovery Management System (RMS), COB Tracker, specific client systems)

Demonstrates understanding of Cotiviti policies & procedures, and external regulatory requirements and performs duties in accordance with such regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) and/or a minimum of at least one (1) year related experience in healthcare.

At least 1-year Cotiviti experience is recommended for individuals seeking their next opportunity internally.

Assist ongoing maintenance of records management plan, as needed

Report all discrepancies and issues to the PASSPort Support Team Manager

Develop fluency and expertise in PASSPort

Compile and reconcile performance data on PASSPort purchasing and payments

Provide technical assistance to ACS staff, on the diverse roles provisioned through PASSPort

Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and transfer remaining patient and secondary insurance liability to the appropriate payor or next responsible party

Perform effectively in fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Achieve and maintain performance consistent with requirements for productivity, quality, and service levels

Experience in posting insurance and patient payments, cash applications, cash posting for physician, home

Knowledge of HCFA 1500 and UB04

Experience in reconciliation of payments to physician claims and hospital service
