Injection Molding Technician – Multiple Shifts Jobs

4 to 5 years of experience performing similar molding responsibilities.

Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods.

Knowledge of injection molding machinery, control systems (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic).

Knowledge of material handling/auxiliary equipment, dryers, conveyors, Etc.

Advanced knowledge of auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots).

Advanced knowledge of building maintenance systems (Water Tower, Central Chiller, and Air Compressors).

Experience working with Decoupled III Molding processes and process development

Advanced plastics processing training certifications (example: Master Molder)

Tool design, toolmaking or tool repair experience

Solid technical ability, equipment set up, and troubleshooting skills

Experience following and developing procedures for preventative maintenance

Experience documenting work inside a quality system (IQ, OQ, PQ)

Minimum six months experience using hand tools

Minimum six months experience using power tools

Minimum six months experience in a manufacturing environment

Train and develop others in process improvements and line management, while reducing process variability and addressing equipment reliability issues.

Will work towards acquiring green badge certification

Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications, and process specifications

Provide technical training and certification for Process Technicians on the operation and troubleshooting of the production machinery and process

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant technical/vocational industry experience required

Competent communication skills, both written and verbal required

Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines

Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times

Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required

UV Bonding, packaging, operating, and loading machines, measuring, material handling, coating, masking, mixing, blasting and inspection of product or components

Assemble cartons and containers and prepare products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international and/or customer specifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the injection mold department preferred for internal candidates

Demonstrated basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
