Update and rearrange accommodation and ground transportation for crews, as required, following any program changes.

Previous Part 121 airline operations experience preferred

To plan, release and monitor flights in accordance with applicable Federal Regulations and Mountain Air Cargo, Inc. (MAC) policies and procedures

Complete flight operations building opening and closing procedures in accordance with Operations Command Center Dispatch Manual.

Complete flight training device (simulator) daily pre-flight checks.

Remain alert at all times over the functions of the Operations Command Center.

Maintain overview of all dispatched flights. Follow Emergency Response Plan (ERP) procedures for any operational contingencies and non-standard events.

Assist management with billing tasks (if requested and trained to do so).

Assist management with customer visits and operations control center tours.

File flight plan with all required ATC addresses and ensure flight plan is acknowledged.

Remain knowledgeable of company and customer policies and procedures, operations specifications, irregular operations procedures, aircraft performance and limitations, and related regulations.

Maintaining situational awareness of flights and aircraft under their control.

Generating the Dispatch Release for transmittal to the flight crew. Including, but not limited to:

Providing an efficient route of flight, considering items such as turbulence, navigational limitations, technical aircraft limitations, and adverse meteorological conditions.

Providing updates to airport, weather, and traffic conditions along the route of flight.

Detail-oriented problem solver with strong critical thinking and time management skills

Exceptional administrative and time management skills

Basic understanding of airline operations and crew scheduling / management software applications

Previous aviation operations experience and knowledge of airline and aviation terminology preferred

This job is a member of the Flight Service Team within the Customer Experience Division.

Must be able to travel and be away from home 25% of the month

Current Flight Service, Passenger Service or Passenger Sales experience
