Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. This position is to serve as a Flight Instructor - Airplane, providing flight instruction to students enrolled in aviation academic courses with flight labs at the University of North Dakota. A valid Flight Instructor Airplane Certificate and medical must be held to qualify.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Duties will depend on the level hired for and applicant certifications
• Conduct airplane flight training with students

Required Competencies

• Ability to communicate well verbally and orally with others

Minimum Requirements

• Experience as a student or CFI in a Part 141 structured flight training program
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must have completed 414 flight training
• Valid Class III FAA Medical Certificate
• Hold/Actively working towards 4 year Bachelor Degree in Aviation
• Flight Instructor Certificate - Airplane
• Commercial Pilot Certificate & Instrument Rating - Airplane
