Family Services Supervisor Jobs

Use various assessment to determine the client’s capacity and decision-making abilities.

Provide education to the community and facilities about adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Assess for safety to determine if a client is able to maintain living independently.

Implement in-home services to allow clients to remain in the community and maintain the highest level of safety.

Facilitate and Initiate Guardianship of incapacitated adults.

Partner with Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies in APS investigations.

3. At least two (2) years of experience working in case management.

6. At least two (2) years of work experience in organizational management.

4. Monitors case management services to women and children to include assessments, goal setting, and monitoring progress.

3. Of the three (3) years of experience requires three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance)

2. At least two (2) years of work experience developing and updating curriculum in a program area.

Requires the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work. 

Tasks may involve extended periods of time at keyboard or work station.

Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. 

Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Experience in Early Childhood Education or Head Start/Early Head Start programs

Successfully complete all requirements for Infant/Toddler CDA� within forty-five (45) days of hire.

Regulation, and DHS Child Care Licensing requirements.

Participate in and attend all staff meetings, trainings, and certification courses as required.

Occasionally travel locally as required in the performance of responsibilities.

Minimum of one year working with children or childcare experience, preferred

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or bachelor’s degree in any field plus two years of related human services experience

Master’s degree in the Human Service field with moderate to extensive experience in the same

Prefer experience with foster parent training and recruitment

Prefer experience handling progressively enhanced assignments routinely

Provides consultation and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-related or processrelated topics.

Minimum of two years' experience in data analysis and reporting.

Experience working with MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint at an advanced level.

Strong analytical skills - ability to collect research and evaluate data to reach logical conclusions.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills, follow-through and demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Use various electronic health record/records management systems to provide utilization review for the office of Children’s Services Act.

Attends Community Policy & Management Team meetings.

Collect, track, review, and manage all DMAS/Medicaid authorizations and denials.

Please provide a copy of any certifications or related professional licenses.

Inspects charts for documentation of family participation to include method, frequency and progress towards discharge goals.

Collaborates with FAPT and CSA Administrator to review the information received from Provider evaluations and follows up on complaints or issues.

An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.

Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, counseling or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution.

Four years' work experience in social work, psychology or counseling and experience coordinating a social or behavioral health service program.

At least 6 months of lead or supervisory experience.

Bilingual skills may be required for some positions.

Bachelor’s Degree in social work with experience in case management and family engagement/supports/advocacy

Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of case management services within ChildPlus software and other required data management systems.

Greets staff and clients and conducts health screenings and other duties with professionalism.

Performs other duties as assigned

3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.

2 years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree.

Experience working with families who have a family member with a disability

Excellent customer services and de-escalation skills

8-12 years of public/private accounting experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Booking K-1s and preparation or review of work papers

Accounting and Excel savvy – Templates, VLOOKUP’s, Macro, migrating information

Book journey entries including transfer of assets and noncash distribution.
