Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families and children in need? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ISRS Supervisor to join our team and provide vital support and supervision to our Family Care Specialists. As an FCS Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with agency policies, protocols, and contract requirements for delivering In-Home Safety and Reunification services.
The FCS Supervisor will oversee the following counties: Umatilla/Morrow, Clackamas/Washington, Marion/Polk/Yamhill
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and protocols within the ISRS program.
  • Monitor staff productivity and the quality of services provided.
  • Provide direct supervision and ongoing support to the ISRS program and staff.
  • Be available for staff emergencies, providing essential support when needed.
  • Process and respond to referrals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to promote continuous growth.
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel files for program staff.
  • Mentor and guide Family Care Specialists to enhance their professional skills and knowledge.
  • Shadow program staff twice annually to assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee timesheets and invoices for staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Meet with Oregon Department of Human Services.
Requirements:
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or a related field.
Experience:
  • 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work irregular days and/or hours.
  • Ability to operate and have access to a safe and reliable vehicle at all times.
  • Willingness and capability to drive in various road and weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit and type for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs, across uneven terrain, and cover short to medium distances.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Possess or be able to obtain the necessary auto insurance by the start of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to empower others and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills in others.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adequate typing skills.
  • Understanding and application of Trauma-Informed Care and Collaborative Problem Solving.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain rapport with youth and adults.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and calm crisis management.
  • Impeccable working relationships and knowledge of local agencies, such as DHS.
  • Demonstrated direct and assertive communication, with the ability to hold others accountable.
  • Effective, respectful, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and self-care routines.
