Obtains Job Sheet/SMP from Plexus.

Reads Job Sheet/SMP to determine number and width of material cuts.

Sets up blades and spacers per Job Sheet/SMP specifications.

Sets up exit spacers to direct material to recoiler.

Ability to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and other certifications obtained during career.

Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

Exhibits and carries out cognitive problem-solving skills.

Excavates to assist in the installation of structures or cables as required by contract specification.

Assists with assembling material on the ground and installs conduit and cable in ditches.

Operates various tools for the work (manual digging devices, wrenches, hammers, saws, jackhammers and power tamp).

Perform laborer requirements and responsibilities as needed

Perform service, safety checks, check oil and fluids, and minor repairs on equipment

Work with maintenance crew or laborer crew when not operating equipment

Comply with proper safety standards and expectations

Visually assess digging areas to ensure it has been properly staked/located prior to digging

Safe operation of directional drills, trenching, or excavating equipment when needed

Compares data against the documents given by the management and note irregularities if any.

At least 1 year warehouse experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

Operates equipment in a manner consistent with BioSteel’s Health and Safety policies.

Performs order picking which involves lifting and re-palletizing the products.

Unpack cartons and boxes to check the material and then again seal them.

Prepares product for shipment ensuring accuracy, efficiency and customer service standards are met.

Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and communicate resource requirements for replenishment.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Knowledge of good manufacturing practices preferred.

Tetra Pak operational experience preferred.

Complies with good manufacturing practices.

Monitors and fixes faults as well as clearing any material jams in equipment.

Meet all KAAP performance goals/requirements for work area.

Maintain all production requirements for products

Maintain production reports and checks within work area requirements

Abide by basic Quality and Safety standards/procedures within work area at all times, to include donning proper PPE.

Ensure any Safety or Quality defects/concerns are reported to Supervisor in timely manner

Identifying and reporting of mechanical/production materials in need of repair and/or investigation

Knowledge of state laws for oversize loads and pilot car requirements

Knowledge of Hours of Service and use of ELD’s

Critical thinking problem solving skills

1 year commercial driving experience

Pre-Employment qualifications and drug screening

Must have minimum of 3 years experience running, maneuvering, driving, and navigating equipment such as bulldozer, excavators, rollers, and front-end loaders.

Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate such stated machines

Locate underground services, such as pipes and wires, prior to beginning work.

Experience in water chemistry control, analysis of water conditions, water treatment facility operations and chemical handling requirements

Complete other tasks as assigned by the Control Room Operator, Shift Supervisor, or the Operations Manager

Experience in power plant operations is highly desired

Experience with piping and instrument schematics and process controls

Working knowledge of the power plant industry

Minimum of 2 years of equipment operating experience required.
