Cdl Equipment Operator/Laborer

Company Overview:

Qualdoc is looking for legal-load flatbed drivers and also experienced heavy-haul drivers to join our growing team. Seeking candidates that have experience with machinery moving and rigging, or willing to learn. Transportation routes typically consist throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

We invite operators with legal-load flatbed experience and operators with heavy-haul, multi-axle, and modular hydraulic trailer experience to join the team transporting various heavy project cargo including generators, transformers, pressure vessels, and more. Each driver is skilled in specialized freight movement and our truck and trailer configurations are set up to haul various sized loads weighing over 700,000+ pounds. Our trailers range from 15’ to 125’ long and beyond to offer specialized solutions to our customers unique needs. If you do not have experience, we will provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and apart of the team
• Ability to read and understand maps, permits, and routing
• Knowledge of Hours of Service and use of ELD’s
• Critical thinking problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn, take instructions, and be challenged
• Be able to load and unload machinery as needed
• Knowledge of state laws for oversize loads and pilot car requirements
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Safely and efficiently load, secure, and deliver oversize and overweight project cargo
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs

Required Qualifications:

• Clean MVR and clean inspection record
• 1 year commercial driving experience
• Pre-Employment qualifications and drug screening
• Valid Class A CDL
