Prepare electrical and electronic equipment for assembly and integration into systems.

Works from drawings, wire and cable lists to perform inter-system equipment connections.

Performs simple or routine wiring of chassis utilizing wire lists and schematics.

Uses hand and power tools as required to perform wire wrap and terminal connection installation.

Uses cable testers and other audible testing instruments to verify correctness of terminations

Knowledge and experience in the practice of gold wire and gold ribbon bonding.

Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO Practices and Procedures

Good written and oral communication skills.

Wire/Ribbon bonding sub-systems integrating electronic components from work Instructions and assembly drawings.

Manipulation of items using a variety of tools while using a microscope.

Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately.

Responsibilities include hand soldering of components, perform touch-up, prep and after wave solder (Post Wave) secondary component insertion/ installation.

Good experience in reading and understanding assembly drawings and processes.

Six (6) months experience in PCB operations including prep, touch-up and hand soldering.

The Position requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift (7:00am to 3:30pm) to perform daily duties and responsibilities.

Employee is responsible for assembling printed circuit board assemblies with minimum supervision.

Identifying component type, polarity, and value.

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and or experience, Vocational /specialized training preferred.

What key skills and experience do I need?

Knowledge and use of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical test equipment.

Experience using test units and ability to assemble small components.

4-5 years of technician experience in electrical assemblies.

What will my responsibilities include?

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Performing two or three of the following job duties; Board Mount; Solder SMT components on PCB's

Prior experience using a microscope

Work Experience 1-3 Years in mechanical or electrical assembly

Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures

Basic reading writing in English as well as basic arithmetic skills

Product Stewardship Electronic Equipment (Remote)

Actively participate on trade groups, industry association task forces and working groups to support advocacy efforts.

Support teams by providing responses to internal questions and customer inquiries e.g. EPP as needed.

At least 6 months of previous experience in single piece flow assembly production lines recommended.

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Good understanding of quality control principles; experience applying procedures for detailed documentation of work orders, travelers, process data, test results, etc.

Typically reports to a supervisor/manager

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and schematics.

Experience using electronic test equipment a plus
