Summary:
  • Employee is responsible for assembling printed circuit board assemblies with minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Identifying component type, polarity, and value.
  • Responsibilities include hand soldering of components, perform touch-up, prep and after wave solder (Post Wave) secondary component insertion/ installation.
Minimum Qualifications :
  • High School graduate
  • Good experience in reading and understanding assembly drawings and processes.
  • Six (6) months experience in PCB operations including prep, touch-up and hand soldering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Familiar with IPC-A 610C standards a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires daily interaction with coworkers on production line.
  • The Position requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift (7:00am to 3:30pm) to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
  • Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Employee is required and will have access to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Ear, Eyes and Hand protection.
Work Environment:
  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electric tools, occasional loud noises and exposure to fumes.
