What You Will Do In Your Role
- Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of AOI equipment.
- Adhere to work instructions to build parts that meet the design and quality requirements provided.
- Supports automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.
- Responsible for quality assurance and documentation.
- ITAR compliance when handling assemblies.
- Work in compliance with all health and safety requirements for our organization.
- Assists the supervisors in coordinating the activities of the department.
- Work with respect and humility as a part of an assembly team working together to execute the production plan.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in an ITAR compliant facility.
- Able to interpret drawings.
- IPC certified for solder inspection
- Able to perform work under a microscope.
- Able to read and follow written instructions in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- ITAR compliance.
- Prior soldering experience.
- Understanding of ESD requirements and product preservation.
- Quick learner with mechanical aptitude.
- SMT set up.
- Prior electronics assembly experience.
- Experience with computers using Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel.
In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
The salary range is dependent on experience and skill of candidate: the range for this role is $15-$25 an hour.
