Enhances technical knowledge by routinely reading technical publications, enrolling in educational courses, and engaging in professional associations.

Familiarity with regulatory certification requirements for aircraft electrical and avionics systems is a plus.

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

Recommends and participates in organizational improvement initiatives that involve cross-functional team settings and responsibilities.

Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field of study, no experience required.

THIS IS A FIELD/REMOTE POSITION THAT TRAVELS TO RACE EVENTS ACROSS THE U.S.

Work with the team of technical inspectors to verify that the race vehicles are in compliance with NASCAR rules.

Work one or more assigned inspection station(s) for initial through post-race inspections.

Assist in pre and post-work day operations including assembly and disassembly of inspection equipment.

Use the Mobile Inspection Application to capture all inspection infractions.

Participate in internal quality audits as requested by management and assist in the development and implementation of updated inspection procedures.

Associate degree or equivalent experience.
