THIS IS A FIELD/REMOTE POSITION THAT TRAVELS TO RACE EVENTS ACROSS THE U.S.

Work with the team of technical inspectors to verify that the race vehicles are in compliance with NASCAR rules.

Work one or more assigned inspection station(s) for initial through post-race inspections.

Assist in pre and post-work day operations including assembly and disassembly of inspection equipment.

Use the Mobile Inspection Application to capture all inspection infractions.

Must have the skills use Electrical Instruments to validate installations are as per specifications, code requirements.

Must have good written and verbal skills.

Must have exceptional knowledge in both Instrument and Electrical disciplines.

Must have a well-rounded knowledge of NEC electrical code and API Instrumentation and Control Standards.

Must have the skills to read and interpret applicable specifications, P&ID’s, Drawings, Instrument Details, Electrical Equipment Details.

Must have good organizational skills and is self-motivated.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Notify management of any discrepancies found

Knowledge and experience with power tools, testing equipment, test lamps, measuring devices, power construction equipment

Inspect the production quality to establish requirements are being met

Comprehensive Knowledge of Electrical Quality Control processes, procedures, standards and specifications

Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, operational and mechanical systems including; installation, test, maintenance, and repair

Demonstrated ability to utilize project management tools.

To provide skilled, professional construction project quality assurance to ensure compliance with contract documents along with applicable codes and standards.

5 years of related experience in complex commercial or institutional construction.

Technical certification, licensure, or apprenticeship in one or more building trades required.

OSHA 10-hour Certification required within 6 months of hire.

High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency).

One (1) year of experience in construction, surveying, drafting, or a related field.

Experience inspecting construction projects such as streets, drainage systems, or sidewalk trenches.
