Electrical Engineer I Jobs

The Electrical Engineer works across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering, product development, implementation, and manufacturing of Luxium products. The incumbent performs a variety of engineering tasks related to the development and support of electronics used in scintillation detector packages including:

• Design, develop, assemble and test prototype electronics and test fixtures
• Work to reduce defects in manufacturing, increase yield and improve quality
• May attend and/or present at global technical trade shows, conferences, and meetings
• Utilize project management skills to maintain project schedules
• Collaborate with Global colleagues in Applications and Technology, Marketing, Business, Sales and Customer Service, as well as Manufacturing and Production Engineers, Technicians, and Operators
• Interpretation of specifications and requirements
• Interact with customers to provide technical guidance, limited training, and troubleshooting
• Provide technical guidance for electronics and radiation detection physics for Luxium Solutions products
• Lead Continuous Improvement efforts and/or obsolescence of established and legacy designs
• Author and maintain technical reports, assembly and test procedures, electronic schematics, bills of material, PCB files, firmware / software, hardware databases, and quality reports
• Performing analog and digital electronic design
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited college or university.

Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field

Six Sigma Green Belt-preferred

Professional Engineer-preferred

Program Management Professional-preferred
