Process and project management experience;

Strategy development and management principles and practices;

Program management, project management, and development principles;

Support, produce, promote, and evaluate special events and performances that increase opportunities for cultural interactions, education and understanding;

Collaborate with other Town staff and departments, community groups, businesses, and cultural groups to ensure diverse and inclusive special event offerings;

Establish a knowledge base of best practices and available resources for cultural competence and equity;

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers;

Creative and strategic thinker with strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal;

Strong organizational skills with one or more ongoing assignments; very detail oriented; comprehensive note taker;

Knowledgeable of the operations and confidentiality inherent in an inclusion and equity focused environment;

Trained or experienced in empathetic and trauma-informed consultation;
