Director Physical Security And Crisis Management Jobs

Design and deliver company education programs on security policies and topics for management and employees.

Become the trusted security advisor to senior management and leaders across the organization through high-level communication and excellent briefing skills.

10 + years of experience with progressive program management roles or equivalent experience ideally on a corporate or government security team

Develop security-related standards and policies (visitor management, ID/access credentials, mail and package screening, etc.).

Create and implement security policies and standards that adhere to industry best practices and legal requirements.

Establish auditing and inspection protocols to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps.

Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security, or Criminal Justice, or Organizational Management or equivalent education/experience

Master's Degree in Homeland Security, or Criminal Justice, or Organizational Management or equivalent education/experience

10 or more years of experience in physical security, safety, law enforcement within a multidisciplinary team

5 years of experience managing security professionals.

Certification in Physical Security, i.e., Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) within 2 years of hire

Partner with Security Managers, General Counsel, Human Resources, and Finance regarding integrity and ethics investigations

Deploy state-of-the-art intrusion detection, visitor management, weapons detection, and access control systems

Prepares quantitative and qualitative physical security reports for Security Department management and museum executive leadership

Department of Homeland Security critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement/ military experience, or ASIS CPP certification preferred

Partner with facilities/engineering, and construction to effectively plan and establish facility physical security requirements for existing and new construction

Develop and implement cost-effective crime-prevention solutions to deter threats and reduce perimeter vulnerabilities through leveraging physical security barriers

Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Industry certifications are desirable, but not required.

Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position.

Processes and Methodology used to perform job

Develops and manages programs for electronic access control, campus-wide surveillance, alarms management and emergency notification

Develops comprehensive quality assurance process for electronic systems and physical security programs. Reports to senior university management on system audits.

Campus security monitoring: Oversees management and monitoring of internal resources relative to security system needs.

Administrative skills preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs preferred

Performs security audits to identify security vulnerabilities and safety concerns

Experience with managing alarm access systems or video surveillance systems is required

Leading business enterprise crisis management and preparing business impact assessments in conjunction with our Information Security and Technology teams.

Develop sophisticated scenarios and execute tabletop exercises and working sessions to develop corporate capabilities to respond to incidents expeditiously.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Possess strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various levels.

Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, exemplifying a self-starter attitude.

Homeland Security or Department of State background in addition to private sector experience.

Deep proactive and reactive experience with issues, crisis and reputation management, including developing processes and counseling executives on approach and responses

Experience training and developing others’ communications skills, with or without formal authority, including counseling and preparing spokespersons for media appearances

Expand crisis communications competency companywide, including through developing internal education and training programs on crisis communications and media training

Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, creativity

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple efforts simultaneously

Experience working in heavily matrixed environments, leading by influence, developing relationships, managing change, and achieving results in a collaborative work environment

Strong interest in crisis communications, incident response, crisis preparedness and reputation management

Excels at organizational management and functioning with a disciplined focus to the workday and business goals

Proven experience (6+ years) in crisis communications, public affairs or related professions

Experience in supervisory position, particularly among junior personnel

Superior strategic writing, editing, and communications skills

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five - or more (5+) years of directly related experience in risk management.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Legal, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five or more (5+) years of managerial experience.

Directs and manages the enterprise risk management program and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Promotes org-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies.

Extensive experience with Crisis Management in a global corporate setting

Experience interacting at all levels of an organization, including staff, management and executives

Strong project management and reporting skills

Experience implementing a crisis management program, including advising leadership on program enhancements and leveraging internal and external resources strongly preferred

Oversee McDonald’s framework, including implementing enhancements to a uniform and sustainable Crisis Management process and a common language

Integrate Crisis Management with functions and markets as appropriate

Ability to work independently and engage multiple levels of management and teams together

Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning.

Superb written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in clinical informatics and delivery of medical care

Conduct face-to-face/Telehealth assessments with patients in their natural settings to determine their specific needs.

Perform initial evaluations of patient needs and develop customized treatment plans.
