Director Of Advocacy Jobs in Utah

• Bachelor’s Degree or education/experience equivalency preferred.

• Working knowledge of Government policy processes.

• Experience utilizing grassroots, grasstops, digital and media advocacy tactics and innovative strategies.

• Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. 

Under the direction of the

NVP, Advocacy & Government Relations, t

·Strong leadership and management skills.

·Experience with advocacy database and activation platform management.

·Knowledge of and experience with grassroots advocacy tactics and strategies.

·Experience presenting complex information to diverse audiences with a range of knowledge and experience on subject matter.

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members, stakeholders, potential partners and policymakers.

·Experience in event planning, including meetings, conferences, and other events designed to engage members and the community.

Extensive advocacy work and coalition building experience as a campaigner with lobbying and advocacy expertise

Experience reading and navigating the current political landscape

Demonstrated capacity and experience designing and launching national-level issue campaigns or similar strategic initiatives in political campaigns, lobbying, or labor organizing

Excellent writing and communication skills

Experience with corporate accountability and/or narrative strategy campaign design and execution

Depth of experience with government relations on Capitol Hill
