Public Company experience is required

Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance - preferred

Be actively engaged in advising management on acquisitions from financial and tax due diligence through integration

Proven success with building scalable processes and effective project management aimed at achieving measurable results

Proactively manage direct and indirect tax matters

Assess business models and proposal to ensure accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Motivate and develop a high performing teams

Be a trusted partner across cross-functional teams

• Key areas of experience are as follows:

 Experience auditing, reviewing and analyzing large company financial statements

Up to 175k base, some flexibility, plus bonus

• Oversee the month end close process.

• Drive change to modernize and digitize existing accounting processes.

• Oversee integration and purchase accounting for large scale acquisitions.

Provide project management, financial, business and technical accounting expertise to facilitate timely generation, synthesis and distribution of financial and management reports

Ensure and document that there is clear and complete documentation of management’s testing of internal controls

Liaise with the FP&A Leader as it relates to budgets, forecasts, business plans, and other related management reporting and analyses

Execute and lead all monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close requirements

Manage the accounts payable and treasury function

Assist deal teams on portco analysis

Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, management, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management

Advises on financial analyses and decision-making regarding capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, significant costs, benchmarks, and other matters with management

Assists in the management and production of the annual budget and forecasts

Calculates variances from the budget and reports significant issues to management

7+ years of progressively responsible experience business finance and accounting, preferably in a consumer product related industry

Knowledge and understanding of financial reporting requirements in a GAAP, SOX and SEC regulated environment

Oversee and manage monthly global accounting closes, including preparation and communication of global close calendars and close process leadership

Minimum 7-10 years accounting and financial reporting experience

Manage the day-to-day monthly financial statement close process; deliver accurate and timely monthly financial results.

Manage Internal Controls and own documentation of processes and procedures.

Responsible for indirect cost structure management, including disclosure statements, and completing incurred cost submissions

Manages the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly and initiates journal entries as needed to keep those balances current

5+ years of supervisory experience

Experience with global consolidations and financial statement preparation

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

Experience with acquisition integrations preferred
