VP Corporate Controller - Private Equity - This is the chance to be mentored by one of the greatest Private Equity Portfolio CFO's in the Country and to guide accounting/finance operation as their #2 Controller.

This is a VP level guiding acquisition growth, technical accounting matters, and complex reporting structures. The chance to be strategic in building out further a thriving PE operation. The perfect candidate will have PE accounting and/or finance experience with a passion for handling the corporate accounting, corporate finance and fund administration activities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the FP&A Leader as it relates to budgets, forecasts, business plans, and other related management reporting and analyses
• Provide strong leadership and development to the accounting, finance and administrative staff, including managing, training, motivating, developing and retaining high quality accounting professionals
• Assist deal teams on portco analysis
• Execute and lead all monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close requirements
• Manage the accounts payable and treasury function
• Ad hoc projects
• Ensure and document that there is clear and complete documentation of management’s testing of internal controls
• Provide project management, financial, business and technical accounting expertise to facilitate timely generation, synthesis and distribution of financial and management reports

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
