Prior experience as a supervisor overseeing and directing a staff.

Purchase and maintain inventory.

Execute recipes for hot and cold buffet setups.

Check freshness of food and ingredients.

Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards.

Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals.

As a Kitchen Manager, Your Responsibilities Would Include

Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures

Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times

Managing performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline

Conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen

Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items

Previous Restaurant Supervisory, Management, or Leadership experience

Understand management bonus structure and how your decisions and actions affect it.

Effectively communicate with kitchen, front of house, and managers using the Portal and shift meetings.

Ensures accurate period inventories are completed. Review with General Manager.

Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, front of house staff and guests.

Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 50-pound lifting requirement

Ensuring all payroll policies and procedures are followed, including management of timekeeping for compliance and accuracy.

Overseeing the management and execution of catering orders and reviewing upcoming orders daily.

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Manager; preferably in a fast-paced full-service restaurant concept

Ongoing current Food Safety Manager certification

Qualification Requirements for this position are:

5+ years of Full-Service Salaried Manager experience

Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service

Strong Back of House background

Proven track record of leading and developing an hourly team

Team members are eligible the first of the month after 60 days of employment

Team members are eligible after six months of employment
