Role: Workday Engineer

Duration: 3 Months contract to hire (perm)

Description:

We are hiring Workday Senior Engineers who have an appetite and flair for Design, Development, Implementation and Maintaining solutions within Workday Financials Reporting and/or Integration functions in an Agile Environment.

Responsibilities:

As an Engineer youwill manage the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of custom Workday reports and/or integrations, dashboards in alignment with the organization’s programs, goals, and data security framework. You will analyze business requirements and capabilities for advanced data visualization and reporting. Build custom reports and/or integrations within the Workday tenant and handle Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) activities. You will also develop complex calculated fields to meet businessrequirements,

partner with internal customers to ensure data and security consistency across all reporting platforms. Alongside, collaborate with workday Managers, Principal Engineers and the other workday functional areas on any data requirements that would require the use of standard and custom reports and/or integrations within Workday. As an Engineer you will share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.

Required Skills:

2+ years of Workday Financials and /or HCM

reporting and/or deep integration experience.

Deep understanding of Workday Data Governance and reporting and/or integration processes, procedures, and best practices

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to details.

Prism, Studio and Advanced Calculated Fields Knowledge

Experience with other business intelligence tools such as Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite, including MS project.

Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

Desired:

• Workday Pro Certifications in Financials Integrations / Reporting is a Plus
