Job Description

Overview

The People and Places Technology team is the steward of Intuit's workforce experience when it comes to internal tools and applications. Our mission is to create an environment where our workforce can do the best work of their lives.

We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Workday integration engineer to be a part of our team. This role reports into the People and Places Technology team and works closely with product management, technical development, 3rd party vendors and strategic partners to deliver solutions that simplify the daily work life of Intuit workers.

In this role you will enable the delivery and support of Workday solutions, executing on operational plans as well as designing and implementing technology enhancements that provide an awesome end user experience. You will be part of a cross-functional team, working with a mix of business partners, developers, product managers and other analysts in an Agile Scrum team.

What you'll bring

  • Experience/knowledge of Java – nice to have
  • Workday HCM, Workday Studio and Workday EIB experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Workday integration experience
  • Workday core HCM certification – nice to have

How you will lead

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with customer obsession
  • Ability to design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools and available technologies
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, business units to drive forward result
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage integrations between the Workday platform and all connected systems
  • Implementing best practices for architecture, design, coding standards & CI/CD
  • Hands-on Experience using Workday Studio, CCBs, & EIBs to create and manage integrations
  • Experience building and maintaining inbound/outbound integrations in Workday especially in payroll and benefits area
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, SWA, etc.)
