About the Internship
- The MoneyGram Paid Internship Program is a virtual internship with opportunities for in-office work and meetings (as agreed by intern and manager).
- Ideally, candidates will be available to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- This opportunity will last between 8-12 weeks

The Program Details:
- The Intern will assist in the coordination, execution, and delivery of programs and special projects for IT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains records of meetings and documents reviewed in accordance with assigned projects.
- Undertakes one or more assigned projects in the field of IT as assigned.
- Presents completed project and relevant information to all levels of department staff related to the assigned project.
- Performs a variety of general entry-level tasks in such areas as records coordination, communications, strategy, or other areas.
- Attends meetings with business stakeholders related to assigned projects.
Education
Minimum Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Actively studying towards a Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree (JD, MBA, MA) in a relevant field (marketing, business, tax, IT, computer engineering, IS, human resources, communications, economics).
Essential Skills
- Able to assist on systems deployments as part of a team
- Ability to foster excellent relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization.
- Design, document and implement Cloud environments within the team, provide daily reports on Cloud activities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives within the Cloud Engineering and Operations team.
- Must be attentive with initiatives to proactively prioritize workloads in the Cloud
- Collaborate with development, Security, Dev Ops, Middleware teams to deliver high quality, resilient, and secure cloud solutions
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn tools such as Terraform, IaaC, Okta SSO, Okta ASA, AWS Cost, AWS Cloud, GCP Cloud, Prisma Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Cloud Health, Trello, Version Control repositories such as GitHub, Bit Bucket, etc.
- Delivers risk analysis approaches when reviewing solutions
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Maintain required technical knowledge to perform day to day duties
- Willingness to learn native cloud services and ability to pick up and understand concepts or architectural diagrams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and cross functional teams
- Demonstrated self-motivation, drive, and initiative.
