Job Description
Sr Lead IT Project and Program Management
The Senior Lead Program Manager IT job supervises a team of experienced professional level employees to achieve technical project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. This job utilizes advanced knowledge of the technical project/business requirements to manage large, moderately complex projects for the organization. This job sets policy and strategy for short-term goals, as well as goals and objectives for team members and provides coaching and feedback to help employees reach these goals.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Manages performance of direct reports through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of Project/Program Management objectives and engagement, motivation and development of the team.
  • Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a technical project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met, typically delegating responsibility to experienced professionals who have shown independence in prior assignments.
  • Leads technical project meetings and approves regular reports that communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
  • Implements an established project plan and supervises progress and performance against this plan.
  • Monitors the status of complex technical projects including cost, timing, staffing, and dependencies across multiple inter-related projects, as needed.
  • Manages technical project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.
  • Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing technical project on time and to budget.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Required Skills
  • Experience leading technical delivery of larger scale enterprise projects managing project resources while maintaining project budgets and timelines.
  • 5+ years of Project management experience leading a cross functional team.
  • Understanding of trading processes across the full trade lifecycle within a buyside asset management organization.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with tech, ops and business
  • Knowledge of Leverage Finance business

Base Pay Range: $122,400/yr. - $192,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
