VP Reporting and Analysis

Our client, a prestigious asset manager is looking for a VP Financial Reporting and Analysis

The Vice President will have responsibilities in the following areas:

• Working closely with Product Control and Operations teams to identify and reconcile investment and P&L differences between internal accounting systems and administrator data.
• Responding to ad hoc request from external investors including return calculations and performance summaries
• Working with Investor Relations to prepare quarterly investor deck/earnings release
• Assisting with preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
• Assisting with technology initiatives
• Performing research on new accounting pronouncements and their impact to the financial statements
• Providing review and reconciliation of the valuation process of the investment portfolio
• Working closely with the investment team with requests, including updating financial model, liquidity management, PM reporting and various ad hoc requests
• Liaising with the Investment, Operation and Investor Relations teams to review and enhance internal and investor reporting
• Working directly with the third-party administrator to coordinate workflow and reviewing all accounting deliverables to ensure accuracy and conformity with applicable accounting standards
• Monitoring compliance with the SEC and IRS regulatory tests
• Preparation and review of 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings
• Preparing materials for Board of Directors

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience and MUST have SEC reporting experience. Working in the asset management industry is strongly preferred, with REIT, Private Credit or BDC exposure.
