YOUR IMPACT

The VP of in Restaurant Training will be responsible for the strategy for in-restaurant learning across all company-owned and franchise restaurants. You will be responsible for developing the strategic vision and deployment of relevant, role-based content across company-owned and franchised restaurants globally will lead the design, development, and execution of programs and initiatives that drive best-in-class restaurant operations, and ultimately elevate the guest experience. You will also lead the implementation of a new LMS, as well as manage brand standards, including Winstop’s operations excellence program. The ideal candidate will be able to move fast, navigate ambiguity, build strong relationships across multiple teams and our brand partner community while executing effectively and ultimately impacting the revenue and profitability of the organization.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the creation of role-based, blended learning solutions for company-owned and franchised restaurants. Content to include eLearning, gamification efforts, video, job aids, manuals, and classroom based training. Lead the strategy to build restaurant talent to the next level
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with US and International Operations and HR to develop relevant, engaging content for above-restaurant leadership and team members.
  • Lead the creation of content to support Brand Partners; leverage best practices across US and International markets.
  • Lead implementation of new LMS platform with engaging UX, including gamification and adaptive back-end platform.
  • Reinforce best in class operations procedures with restaurants and manage our digital food safety program.
  • Present ongoing updates to Brand Partner and field community.
  • Lead the Training and Support teams which train new Brand Partners Globally (classroom and restaurant based) and New Restaurant Opening support teams.
  • Deploy Management Curriculum program for company-owned and franchised locations; support company strategic initiatives and roll-outs through training development and implementation
  • Evaluate and track effectiveness of training offerings, through time to competency, retention, and restaurant performance tied directly to the operations excellence scorecard.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our corporate and regional field teams, brand partners and their team members.
  • Other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to enforce brand standards for food safety, quality, and cleanliness ops procedures by managing our quarterly restaurant audit program
  • Identify best practices for LMS and ways to increase usage, ultimately leading to improved restaurant operations.
  • Collaborate with Brand Partners and their teams to increase LMS usage, troubleshoot. share best practices, and reporting.
  • Form strong working relationships within team and brand partner community.


WHO YOU ARE

HUMBLE: You believe there is always opportunity to further your personal and professional growth. You possess 10 + years’ experience of in-restaurant training / operations / learning and development as well as the ability to lead a team (5-7 years’ experience preferred) You have excellent communication skills and a strong analytics and strategic background.

HUNGRY: You have strong leadership skills and are Self starter who works independently and is highly self-motivated; goal oriented. You excel in a fast-paced, energetic, innovative and flexible environment.

SMART: You possess the ability to lead strategic vision of LMS Experience optimizing an LMS to drive adoption and usage rate. Experience with multiple LMS systems preferred, As well as the ability to deploy role-based, blended learning solutions (eLearning – Articulate experience preferred, video) Experience with establishing and maintaining training centers.
