OVERVIEW:


A Chief of Staff will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to partner with Chief Commercial Officer on Global Strategic initiatives and assist with the daily operation of an multi-billion dollar Commercialization organization to drive results and foster a culture rooted in our Success Drivers and Leadership Principles.


Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:


  • Assist CCO to drive Leadership principles and Success Drivers across the organization – plan cross functional chats, training events and other initiatives.
  • Collaborating with global Commercialization executive leadership team to determine and prioritize business strategies and projects. Drive global alignment and consistency in approach across all strategic initiatives to ensure every market is driving SN commercial and GTM strategy consistently.
  • Understand all key systems and platforms across the business to be able to tap into key data to deliver answers for questions raised by CCO and Commercialization Leaders
  • Provide CCO and other Executive leaders updates on progression of projects, monitor and communicate progress towards goals and deadlines
  • Identify gaps/issues and make recommendations on improvements across the Commercialization team and total business
  • Oversee strategic initiatives from ideation to implementation, including liaising with other functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Finance, P&C,etc) when their support is required
  • Align with the CCO on key Global Priorities and work his Direct team on drive those priorities.
  • Work cross functionally with PD, Engineering, Operations and other stakeholders to align on the priorities and the impact of each initiative on different departments.
  • Take key actions from meetings and ensure they are followed up and delivered on by global Commercialization Leader and/or cross functional leaders and their respective team(s)
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made
  • Successfully execute deliverables with a hand's on approach including drafting any materials required to ensure projects are well defined and then well executed across Commercialization
  • Planning, co-ordinating and keeping contents of key CCO owned meetings focused and effective (ensure prep work is actioned, and the CCO is briefed in advance for large meetings on her role/key messages & objectives for the meeting)

  • Proven ability to learn quickly, demonstrated through diverse background of experiences
  • Extremely effective at project management, passion for getting the details right at every level of any project, every time
  • Instinctively you are able to identify what matters most, and how to prioritize the highest value use of your own time, and the CCO's time
  • 10+ years in related field and/or similar leadership experience within a business function
  • Extremely effective at project management, passion for getting the details right at every level of any project, every time
  • Experience with ownership and execution of ideas, from initial idea phase through execution, including personal ability to remove roadblocks
  • Ability to work towards a solution, with demonstrated ability to use personal and professional judgment to move projects along quickly
  • Commercial acumen
  • Able to identify and then resolve any kind of problem across the organization and the team


Preferred Skills/Education:


  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or closely related field of study
