Job Description
Who We Are Looking For


The Chief Resiliency Officer will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).The Chief Resiliency Officer (CRO) will be responsible for the interacting with senior and local regulatory officials to speak to the firms overall approach.The CRO will lead and oversee the global resiliency framework as well as implementing methodologies to meet regulatory policy.This highly visible executive position will communicate all operational resilience posture and requirements executive leaders, global regulators and internal committees.


What You Will Be Responsible For


  • Interaction with senior local and global regulatory supervisors to explain the firms overall approach, current position, response and plans associated with complex operational resilience related topics
  • Develops, maintains and oversees the implementation of a global operational resilience framework, associated policies, global business unit and corporate area implementation, appropriate supporting tools and methodologies designed to meet global regulatory policies and expectations
  • Accountable for the business continuity program, including crisis management framework in line with global regulatory expectations and policies
  • Responsibility for the assessment of third-party resilience and approach to risk scoring and testing requirements
  • Communication with executive management, enterprise risk management, global regulators, legal entity boards and other stakeholders and relevant internal committees regarding overall operational resilience posture and requirements in order to influence appropriate resilience strategies
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of enterprise services taxonomy


What We Value


  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills at both the executive and board level
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of resiliency framework principles principles and strategies as well as the emerging trends
  • Executive level experience in the Global operational resilience framework within the financial services industry including time spent managing in an executive capacity
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and developing enterprise service taxonomy.
  • GSIB experience
  • Detailed understanding of global regulatory requirements to include crisis management and risk score testing.
  • Highly organized with extensive problem-solving and negotiation skills


Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • Graduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or MBA preferred
  • A strong analytical background with 10-15 years of experience in empirical data analysis, risk modelling and stress testing.

Salary Range


$300,000 - $412,500 Annual


The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
