Virtual Office Assistant- Part Time ($15.70 / Hour)

Employer is seeking a Call Center Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as required
• Communicate decisions to physicians, office staff, medical management staff, and pharmacists
• Escalate requests to Pharmacist when necessary
• Research, resolve, and document prior authorization outcomes in pharmacy system
• Evaluate and authorize approval of prior authorization pharmacy requests using clinical criteria

Requirements

• Active national certification (PTCB or ExCPT) if state does not require exam for licensure/registration
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration according to state requirements
• Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs, health plan formulary management, and medical terminology
