Job Description

Note: Job can be onsite in either Richmond, CA or Braintree, MA


Responsibilities

  • Fulfillment: Shipping finished goods to customers
  • Head of Day-to-Day Operations for Polycarbin, reporting to Co-founder & COO
  • Recycling: Overseeing collection of plastic recyclables at labs nationwide via freight couriers and Polycarbin’s staff & trucks
  • Insource vs. Outsource: Help decide and implement which operations should be done internally vs. externally, and what software, staff and partners are necessary to carry out these operations
  • Manufacturing: Processing of recycling goods and then manufacturing into new high quality lab products
  • Responsible for establishing and implementing strategy for recycling, manufacturing and fulfillment operations, across insourced and outsourced resources, on a nationwide-basis
  • Manage operational staff across locations
  • Manage shipping, freight, packaging and manufacturing vendor partners


Qualifications

  • Must be able to work onsite in Richmond, California or Braintree, Massachusetts
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain and/or logistics
