- Partner and collaborate with local and state decision makers to stay abreast of and influence system changes.
- Maintain and advance effective client relationships with partners to ensure ongoing program success and positive relationships.
- Manage program budgets by ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and thresholds are met. Ensure ebbs and flows within the programs and services are managed. Partners with CFO to reforecast resource allocation as needed.
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to promote department outcomes that are in alignment with the organizational priorities of Beech Acres’ mission, brand, revenue maximization and customer value proposition.
- Promotes agency culture that embodies the values of High Quality, Data Informed Innovation to Achieve Positive Outcomes, Compassionate Service, Transformative DEI, Collaborative Team Culture, and Natural Strength Parenting
- Model the vision, mission, and values of Beech Acres Parenting Center.
- Design and drive the business model for parent coaching with finance and marketing.
- Co-create with the program directors standard operating practices across programs as appropriate.
- Establish operational plans, procedures, staffing, and policies, at all levels within programs.
- Solicit feedback from funders, external stakeholders, foster parents, physicians, kinship providers and other partners to assess BAPC’s services and partnerships.
- Ensure achievement of programmatic and financial outcomes, while meeting licensing and other requirements for Foster Care and Kinship Care.
- Establish, implement, and monitor systems that enable and support successful service delivery and adherence to ODMHAS, COA and Beech Acres standards and protocols. Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, work groups and related efforts including auditing and outcome/evaluation monitoring.
- Provide oversight and maintain accountability for program’s achievement of performance goals including measurable outcomes, client satisfaction, persons served, financial targets, common caseload-specific results, and employee development.
- Lead the mission of Parent Education and Coaching, Foster Care and Adoption, Kinship Care, and visitation.
- Create new and innovative ways to recruit Foster Care families, Kinship families, physician offices and businesses.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and participation with program directors to ensure effective key account relationships with physician offices, businesses, government entities, community partners, foster parents, kinship providers, staff, and other caregivers are maintained and thriving.
- Regularly scan for national best practices and conduct competitive analyses on relevant providers of similar programs.
- Co-create with Directors of Beech Acres’ universal parent education and coaching model.
- Sponsor and lead the quality improvement methodology.
- Contribute to the development of staff’s leadership capabilities.
- Provide coaching support to staff.
- Measure staff performance against defined and agreed upon metrics aligned to the agency scorecard.
- Ensure staff have a clear understanding of their performance.
- Establish systems to clearly define accountability within program areas.
- Select staff based on Beech Acres’ values and leadership capabilities.
- Proactively develop leaders who are ready to assume team leader, manager, director, and vice president roles.
- Create program structures that produce clear line of sight cascading throughout all programs.
- Monitor human resource activities for staff and contractors. This includes position planning, hiring, individual staff development, team development and alignment of staff capabilities to program needs.
- Ensure staff alignment and engagement with agency vision, mission, direction and values.
- 5-7+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and program(s) within a social services setting, including experience in program design/development, fiscal accountability, and process/procedure development is preferred.
- Strong ability to lead, develop, mentor and coach teams to success. Documented history of successfully developing and leading high performing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Bachelor’s Degree (Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred). Master’s Degree preferred.
- High level of innovative and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively lead processes that support continuous improvement and model operationalization.
- Ability to work collaboratively and to engage and motivate teams towards achievement of goals and targets.
