Job Description
We are looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the Global HR function at JSR who can shape and drive a vibrant people strategy, organizational design, and the process of transformation and collaborate with HR program/policy/process owners of the other JSR affiliates globally to deliver effective HR programs. You will be a key leader of the Executive Leadership Team and benchmark against human resource/talent best practices and implement innovative initiatives aimed at continuous improvement to support a dynamic, evolving global organization.
This position is responsible for strengthening the overall employee culture, driving change management at all levels throughout our multi-cultural organization, and leveraging data and analytics to uncover insights about trends on employee engagement, attrition and opportunities to enhance performance, retention and satisfaction.
We are seeking someone who understands where we are in our evolution as a company, is ready to build a high-performing organization and proactively plan and prepare for our next stage of growth. This is a hybrid role with the location in Sunnyvale, CA or Durham, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, develop and launch strategic people plans for achieving business goals, including employee engagement, talent acquisition, DEI, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, succession planning, engagement/retention strategies, coaching and organizational design improvements.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and development to the global human resources team, building organizational capability and effectiveness.
  • Develop a competitive and mission appropriate compensation philosophy and recognition program using best practices and market trends to implement this philosophy globally. Executive Compensation strategy required.
  • Partner with management to design and execute strategy for how we attract, recruit, onboard, develop, motivate and retain employees.
  • Implement a global people database. Provide analytics and data-based workforce planning and talent management. Modernize global sourcing using digital technologies.
  • Serve as the corporate liaison to advise and consult on cross-functional policies, processes and facilitate relevant internal communication to employees, managers and departments in all global offices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field (or equivalent working experience) required. Master’s Degree or MBA and SPHR certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in talent management and development, employee relations and engagement, DEI, and performance management.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive business leadership experience with proven experience as VP of HR or other senior HR leadership role in a global organization.
  • Understanding of HR metrics/data.
  • Executive presence with a positive and dynamic management style, combined with emotional maturity (EQ) to effectively drive change and align stakeholders.
  • Functional expertise in multiple disciplines within HR and general business acumen.
    • At least 5 years' experience as HRBP working with senior leaders in a large, corporate environment.
    • Extensive experience in talent management and development, employee relations and engagement, DEI, and performance management.
    • Knowledge of employment and labor law (including, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.).
    • Understanding of HR metrics/data.
  • Ability to establish credibility and build trust and alignment across teams while navigating complex organizational challenges.

  • At least 5 years' experience as HRBP working with senior leaders in a large, corporate environment.
  • Expertise in the design and implementation of HR initiatives to support a scaling and growing global business.
  • Workday implementation and introduction experience.
  • Ability to interact well with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide critical thinking as a thought partner to executive leadership.
  • Previous experience in successfully introducing and implementing processes, best practices and operational change initiatives. Must have a proven track record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers to support growth and financial results.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability for 25% travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience managing M&A or financing transactions from all human resources aspects.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
(Salary Range - $250K to $310K +)
