Opportunity & Role
Canopy is hiring a VP to own its new partnership (acquisition) efforts. This key contributor will have a high degree of autonomy and lead the full M&A transaction process, including overseeing sourcing, owning deal structuring, leading diligence calls, building financial models, drafting investment memos, and transitioning deals seamlessly into the integration phase. The VP will oversee, mentor and develop the M&A team. This position will report to the CEO.

Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or related field
· Qualified candidates MUST have 4-5 years of M&A experience within Private Equity deal execution or a Family Office
· Track record of closing multiple buyout deals in middle or lower-middle markets
· Experience managing junior analysts
A competitive compensation package, with full benefits, will be offered. Start dates are flexible with a bias towards 30 days
