Job Description

The VP of Marketing is an innovative marketing expert who will elevate a mature brand to the next level as we grow from a medium sized organization to a large one. The Vice President (VP) of Marketing will develop brand marketing strategies and efforts to strengthen company's market position and achieve desired business goals.


  • Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing, and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
  • Implement and execute effective strategy for online platform in alignment with goals.
  • Be an effective leader and ensure all marketing programs are successful, metrics-driven, and goal-oriented
  • Leading the marketing team, create and manage the content on social networking sites including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. as well as other industry-specific online communities and blogs
  • Research products, services, and current strategies to identify new opportunities·
  • Lead the messaging, positioning, content creation, solutions marketing, and delivery of marketing experiences that engage the target customer base. Use creative PR strategies to build brand awareness
  • Create, deploy, manage, and report on various digital marketing initiatives, customer acquisition & retention programs, automated/triggered campaigns and CRM communications.
  • Drive the digital marketing capability (website, SEO, social media channels) - Oversee the marketing team to develop, manage and measure marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute the strategic marketing plan in support of the overall strategy, optimizing the development of products, services, and brand reach.
  • Train and coach existing and new franchisees on how to best optimize their website and assist with their campaigns
  • Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans that are innovative, actionable, measurable, and result in overall growth of the organization.
  • Stay up to date to the daily changes in the search algorithms of Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines or areas in internet marketing; continually learning, fine-tuning, and experimenting to discover how the industry is shifting
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency

Requirements:

  • You have experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, implementing strategy, and budget management
  • Metric and growth driven with the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • You are entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • Creative and innovative with strong leadership and communication skills

Working Hours/Environment:

  • Work performed from franchise corporate office – travel up to 25%
  • Standard Office hours are 40 hours per week – may require additional hours including evening and weekends depending on business needs
