This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and driven accounting professional to join our executive team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:

This role requires strong leadership skills, deep technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. SEC Reporting:
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and analyze financial information, ensuring compliance with all SEC regulations and reporting standards.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting and reporting regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required disclosures.
  1. General Ledger Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the general ledger team, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements.
  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit and ensure all audit requirements are met.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, assisting in decision-making processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Build and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Set performance goals and objectives for the accounting team, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a publicly traded company.
  • Join our team and take on this critical role in shaping our financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Together, we will drive the financial success of our company and contribute to our growth in the industry.
  • Deep knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, and SOX compliance.
